Always Catching UP!!

I should just come to terms with the fact them I am not good at updating the blog. I am even worse at trying to remember what has happened over the past little while and what I need to catch up on. The last time I posted was over a month and a half ago. So here we go with the novel-that is if I can remember anything!
First off I have a good excuse of why I had such a hard time updating. The month of November was full of writing papers, some as long as 14 pages and homework. Yes I know what excuses are like!
November
Mark's birthday was in November and I think that we had a good time! We went out to Hamiltons Steakhouse in Logan, it was delicious. I got him some carhartt pants with fleece on the inside so that he can stay warm when he is hunting rabbits! I also bought him a hunting magazine subscription. All in all I think that he had a Good Birthday! I love my Man.. MUAH..
We had the chance to go to a couple of Jazz games thanks to our good friends Marc and Allison. They lost the first game that we went to. When they almost lost the second we were almost banned from the ESA by Marc (our friend) because he was convinced we were the bad luck charm.
We had some fun visitors in November that we hope to have back sometime soon! Kyle, Ashlie, Bridger, and Justin. We hung out, watched T.V., and went shopping it was a lot of fun. We also had Hannah come up and spend a Saturday with us. This is I and Hannah's, Who Farted Face?!
We love when people come and see us it is always a good fun time!

Luckily for us however they were able to get a win, therefore we were not banned and are still welcome. Unfortunately I also forget to take pictures!
Thanksgiving was super fun and it was a much needed break from school and for Mark it was a good time to have some time away from work! We went down to Ephraim for Grandma's big Thanksgiving. It is amazing how our 95 year old Grandma is still able (with a little help) to cook for all 70+ of us. She is amazing.
December
Unfortunately we had to come back to reality after Thanksgiving and go back to work and school. The good news though is that I successfully made it through the semester and can happily say that I made it on the Dean's list. I got a 3.6 which I am really proud of. After finals I did not have too much to do. I had a full month off - my job doesn't let me work unless school is in. I was able to do ALOT of cleaning and have a lot of free lazy time on my hands! It was really nice, and at times boring, but I am happy that I had the time to re-cooperate from the semester.
Mark and I decided that we should not be as lazy as we are and that we should pick up a few hobbies. Mark wanted to start snowboarding again, which is something that I have absolutely no experience in and he is really good. However I decided to try it out again after about 5 years and see if I could do it. So we thought oh we'll just buy a snowboard, and a punch pass and thought it will be great. We invited Roni to come with us. All I can say is WOW.. not wow in a bad way.. but WOW. It was super hard on my body and I am super bad at it. While getting off the lift I fell numerous times. It was fun, but I hope i can get a lot better.
The Holidays were so much fun and we were able to see lots of family and loved every minute of it. This is us having so much fun driving, one of the many trips.
It was a drive across America for us, but we had a good time and are grateful that we are able to see both families during the holiday season.

The girls all got a apron that my mother-in-law made.
We spent time with both families and it was awesome. I was also able to stay an extra week down with my mom and spend some one on one time with her before my classes started. A group of my old friends got together and it was great to get to see them. I was also able to visit with my cousin's and see their cute new baby.

January
So you may wonder what is going on with us now?.. We are just doing the usual. Christy- going to classes and finishing her last semester before she earns her degree.. Yippee.. Taking my one Psych class, tumbling, sewing, living with wildlife, and sign language class. It's seems to be a super fun schedule and I think that it will be a really fun time. Mark- is working at ATK still and another set of layoffs are coming. We are not that nervous, but it is still a little nerve racking when you know they are coming. However we know that whatever happens, happens for a reason and it will all be okay, but pray for us still! We know that it will all work out how it is supposed to. We also got a new calling in our ward. We are in the primary we teach the 8 year olds going on 9. We think it will be a blast and it has been so far!
(I am going to try to take more pics.. cause wow i am awful at taking them!)
